The renowned professional sports insurance consultants "DK Sportler beraten Sportler GmbH" based in Bedburg and "HMI Sports GmbH" from Berlin have joined forces and merged to form a new entity called "Global Sports Versicherungsmakler GmbH".
This merger strengthens one of the largest independent professional sports insurance consulting agencies in Europe. With bundled know-how and a diverse range of services, Global Sports offers comprehensive cover for top athletes and sports clubs.
Global Sports is managed by three experienced insurance experts: Marcus Korsten, Jürgen Hotes and Volker Diergardt and focuses on comprehensive cover for top athletes, coaches and sports clubs.
The versatile insurance portfolio includes benefits such as health insurance, (daily sickness benefits, daily sick pay), occupational disability insurance, sports disability insurance, accident insurance and much more. Special attention is paid to personal support, professional risk protection and special claims handling. A national and international specialist network provides additional support.
The insurance broker has already gained the trust of more than 1,500 football players from clubs in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga as well as first-division players from top European leagues such as Italy, Spain and England. Athletes from overseas, for example from St. Louis and Philadelphia, also rely on the expertise of Global Sports.
We also look after professional athletes from handball, basketball, skiing and tennis.
